The school year has begun, and All-American Home Care is happy to send kids back with school bags loaded with supplies.
All-American Home Care joined the Small Business Council of Rochester‘s Backpack Give Back Program, which gives backpacks full of supplies to children in the region. All-American Home Care contributed 100 backpacks with supplies.
“Having a business in the community means helping build community,” said All-American Home Care CEO Marco Altieri. “Far too many children in the Rochester region live in poverty and school supplies aren’t a possibility.”
In fact, an overwhelming 52% of children in Rochester area live in poverty, and the purchase of school supplies is a burden. SBC Cares Backpack Give Back program provided 1,000 students with backpacks with the help of small businesses in the Rochester, NY area. That is double the number of backpacks given out last year.
“We are committed to improving communities and lives,” Altieri said. “We wish all these students the best of luck in the coming year and beyond.”
